“ISHIKAWADAI Denim” is the result of an ambitious collaboration across multiple Japanese crafts — a pursuit of new possibilities in denim through time-honored techniques.
From raw materials to finishing, every step has been carefully considered. The fabric is spun using a rare vintage spinning machine known as Ishikawadai, and woven on a traditional TOYODA GL-3 shuttle loom to reproduce the authentic texture of early-era denim. The result is a 14oz fabric with a satisfying hand feel that will develop a rich, beautiful fade over time with wear.
