The revolutionary patented yarn technology "SUPER ZERO", developed by Asano Spinning, is now being used in clothing for the very first time. Traditionally employed in towels, this special yarn brings unparalleled comfort and functionality to denim.
"SUPER ZERO" is created by tightly twisting a water-soluble yarn in the opposite direction to conventional spun yarns. The water-soluble yarn is then dissolved, resulting in a yarn that is 1.5 times more voluminous, filled with air for unmatched softness and lightness. It also provides excellent water absorption and quick-drying capabilities, offering a smooth texture and superior comfort that sets it apart from traditional denim.
Born in a newly established spinning factory in Fukushima, after overcoming the hardships of the earthquake, “SUPER ZERO” represents the resilience and innovation of Asano Spinning. By adopting this material, BIG JOHN supports this initiative in its own small way.
