VBLT05 Heavy Weight HIMEJI LEATHER BELT (pit oil leather)
VBLT05 Heavy Weight HIMEJI LEATHER BELT (pit oil leather)
A thick and sturdy pit oil leather belt
This belt is made by immersing the raw material in a vat called "pit", containing plant resin "tannin" for a long time, ensuring the deep layers of the leather absorb the tannin. After soaking, the product is dyed in various colors using drums when completely dry, then pressed, and more. Due to the inclusion of oil, this pit oil leather belt has a deep character and is notably durable.
*Because this belt is thicker than regular belts, depending on the thickness of the jeans you wear and your body type, the fit may feel tight. It will become more comfortable with use, but please be sure to check the actual size.

An authentic belt that boasts the charm of its thick and pleasant-to-hold leather. In recent years, with the decline in the production of very thick raw hides, we have been able to realize a thick product in collaboration with the renowned HIMEJI LEATHER.
Just like jeans, you can enjoy the aging process over time, making it an authentic original leather belt that pairs well with jeans.

This area is also well-known among leather enthusiasts, with many tanners recognized in both domestic and international leather contests.
Brass has been loved by people across East and West since ancient times. As it ages, its color deepens, gradually developing a unique patina over time.
This captivating metal, "brass", inspired us to create a "sturdy buckle that's unique and can be loved for a long time". Thus, the BIG JOHN original brass buckle was born.
The buckle is made by pouring heated metal into a sand mold, cooling and solidifying it, then removing it from the mold, deburring it, and finishing it through various processes. It's a masterpiece created using traditional techniques and the skills of artisans.
This exquisite piece was created after much trial and error by numerous artisans and planners. Why not nurture and enjoy the depth and flavor that is unique to handmade items?
Experience the dedication in the "brass buckle", crafted using traditional methods, the "Himeji leather", and the synergy with "BIG JOHN's jeans".
