This jacket is crafted from 16oz Japanese selvedge denim using a unique blend of 40% recycled cotton, composed of cotton noil ("ochiwata") and regenerated fibers ("hanmou"). These fibers are typically discarded during conventional production — we give them new life.

The result is a dense, textured fabric with natural nep and slub that feels warm, organic, and full of character. No two pieces are the same — and over time, each one tells a unique story through wear, fading, and patina.

About the Kinari Fabric

Kinari means “raw” or “natural” in Japanese. This undyed denim retains the original tone of cotton. Tiny cotton husks and visible plant particles are part of its charm — a truly living fabric.
