This is a denim set born from that very idea—a fictional past, brought to life with modern craftsmanship. Inspired by wartime American jeans, BIG JOHN reimagines a 1940s workwear set with historical accuracy and original interpretation. Details are minimal, functional, and true to the era:

• Iron one-star donut buttons
• UFO fly rivets
• Unsewn back pockets
• Six belt loops
• Selvedge with single red line
• Crotch rivet

Both jacket and jeans are made from 10oz raw selvedge denim, woven on vintage shuttle looms using 20% recycled cotton. Rough, slubby yarns give the fabric a dry, uneven texture. The denim is unprocessed (kibata), meaning it will shrink, twist, and fade uniquely over time.
